Kimberley Campisano is a San Francisco Bay Area artist and educator working primarily with photography, drawing, painting, and digital media. She has studied and worked in Arizona, California, Italy, Mexico, and Cuba. Whether documenting cultural practices or examining family histories and biological allegories, she seeks to engage her viewers in a dialogue of recognition and imagination

Ms. Campisano has exhibited her work at Via Larga (Florence, Italy), John F. Kennedy University, Arizona State University, Southern Exposure Gallery, and the Italo-American Museum, among other venues, and has earned awards in shows at The San Francisco Women’s Art Gallery in 2001 and 2002.
